Finally launched the blog section! I've been meaning to add a place to talk about my daily life, my art process, and things I find cool on the web. It's still a work in progress (just like everything else here!) but I'm happy with how it's looking.

Taking down the old widgets to make room for more personal content. I want this site to feel more like "me" and less like a collection of external frames. The sidebars are finally coming together!

Moving from the standard widget look to a more bespoke feel allows for much better integration with the theme's colors and fonts. I'm especially happy with the new custom typography pairings.

Working with a limited palette is the secret to great pixel art. By restricting your choices, you force yourself to be more creative with shading and dithering.

I usually start with a 4-color palette just to get the shapes right before expanding. It's like playing a game on a GameBoy!
